What to Do for Mid-Back Pain

Back pain is one of the most common reasons people visit a doctor or miss work.

The thoracic spine is the area where most of us accumulate tension and stress.
We often spend the whole day sitting at a desk, with the back hunched forward and not moving.
Spending long periods in this position can lead to discomfort and both short-term and chronic back pain, which may interfere with daily activities, workouts, or even restful sleep.

Myofascial self-massage with a foam roller helps reduce muscle tension, improve muscle and joint mobility, and ease pain symptoms.
This movement can help open up the mid-back area, leaving you feeling like you can sit straighter and breathe easier!

Who is this for?

If you spend most of your day sitting at a desk
If you train or exercise a lot
If you feel stiffness or discomfort between your shoulder blades

When should you do these exercises?

After sleep, as part of your morning routine
Before training, during warm-up
After training, to release muscle tension
After a workday, to relieve muscle fatigue

Is myofascial massage safe?

In general, yes. But always listen to your body — the exercises should make you feel better, not worse!
